USA!!!

Well I am finally here after years of anticipation and waiting I am here in the good ol' US of A!!!! And just in time too 'cause school starts next week!!!! I am excited and worried, it will be different then every thing I have done before...to have only 4 blocks of subjects a day is very different...The dog and cats seem to be settling in to the new place quite well and I envy them for it, the jet lag is not something you get used to very quickly...That is pretty much all the news...Till next time!!

Rain, rain go away!

It is the most horrible thing on earth to have thunderstorms in May!!! It has been raining with very little pause since the beginning of May and I was hoping for better weather on my fathers birthday and now it is overcast and I have a slight cold...Well the date of our flight back to America is set, August 31st and we are taking our pets too. I am very excited to see my family and friends again! Well that is all for now! Happy birthday Dad!!!

English translation (roughly):
Hidden
Summer is hidden
Spring is around the corner
The sun is back now.

Die Vögel

Das Leben ist schwer und düster
Wir warten alle gespannt
Auf die Sonne, sie soll uns befreien
Von den Land, da wo wir waren verbannt
Die Vögel werden sich vereinen
Von der Süden hierher zu uns fliegen
Und dann werden sie für uns singen
Sie werden singen bis die Wolken vertrieben sind
Sie werden singen bis das Regen hält
Und dann werden sie fliegen bis ans Ende der Welt
Und sie werden singen bis ans Ende auch
Sie werden uns fröhlich machen
Und unser Trauer wird verschwinden wie Rauch

Half Marathon!!!

I am running a half marathon tomorrow as a relay with 6 other girls!!!! I will be running 3,4 km (or 2,1 miles)!!!! I am quite excited and may have pics after tomorrow that I will post......
